Last updated: July 2026. This privacy policy describes how The Art of Companionship ("we") handles your personal data in accordance with the GDPR.

What data do we process?

  • Account data: email address, name, mobile number (clients) and business details (providers). Passwords are stored encrypted and cannot be read by anyone.
  • Booking data: date, time, selected service and any notes accompanying a booking.
  • Messages: chat messages between client and provider, so both parties can review their communication.
  • Technical data: we count anonymous page views (no IP address, no profiling). Google Analytics only loads after your cookie consent.

What do we use this data for?

  • Providing our service: showing profiles, enabling bookings and communication.
  • Verification: your mobile number is verified once via SMS (through our processor Twilio).
  • Service emails such as booking confirmations and password resets (through our processor Resend).
  • Optional push notifications, only after your explicit consent.

Sharing with third parties

We never sell your data. Data is only shared with processors required for our service (SMS delivery, email delivery, hosting) and only under data processing agreements.

Retention and your rights

You can delete your account at any time through your account settings, which erases your data. You have the right to access, correct, delete and transfer your data. Contact us via the details at the bottom of the site. You may also file a complaint with your data protection authority.
